B - Sat. Sept. 5 - 10am-2pm - “KNOW YOUR MACHINE & MAKE IT YOUR BEST FRIEND” - $35 Really get to know your sewing machine; it crucial to wind your bobbin & thread it properly. We’ll explore the feet & features so you can be ‘best friends’ with her! You’ll learn about thread, needles and more too!

 

AB - Wed. Sept. 9 - 10am-2pm - “BEGINNING QUILTING #1 or BACK TO BASICS” - $35  The Basics, Borders &

Backing - Yes, there is a right way to cut, press & piece a quilt! You’ll learn how to do all 3 during this first of two classes.

 

Sat. Sept. 19 - 10am-2pm - “CREATORS CLUB” - $5 each meeting. Call it a “Quilter’s Support Group” or “Stitch & Bitch”

AB - Wed. Sept. 16 – 10am-1pm - “BEGINNING QUILTING #2 or FINISHING UP” - $35  Easy Machine Quilting &

Binding - This is the second of 2 classes. Learn how to layer your quilt with batting & backing; then quilt it and

machine bind the edges.

 

AB - Wed. Sept. 23 - 10am-2pm - - “CREATING FAUX-CHENILLE” - $35 Learn how much fun it can be to ‘create’ your

own fabric. I’ll show you the tricks for making this truly unique throw or wall hanging. All you’ll need is your sewing

machine, fabric and the right tool! A Discounted Scarf Kit Available.

 

AB – Sat. Oct. 3 & Sun. Oct. 4 – 10am-2pm - “FABRIC COLLAGE WORKSHOP” - $75 Let your creativity loose! Make your

own one-of-a-kind mini quilt using your left-over fabrics! Learn about color, value and an awesome machine quilting

technique!  We’ll be working with my own design. A Discounted Kit Available.

 

AB – Wed. Oct. 7 – 10am-2pm – “SHOOTING STAR” QUILT - $35 Stars and points can be challenging – let me guide you through accurate cutting, piecing and pressing to achieve perfect points! Bring your own fabric or choose my discounted kit.

 

AB – Sat. Oct. 10 – 10am-1pm - “HAND GUIDED FREEMOTION QUILTING”…$45 – Kit Included Learn how to use your

regular sewing machine to quilt large projects, even bed-sized quilts!  Free-motion skills allow you to do things with your

sewing machine that couldn’t imagine doing!

AB - Wed. Oct. 14 - 10am-2pm - “EASY FUSIBLE WEB APPLIQUE” - $45 Applique is an incredibly creative way to use fabric. This class is a pre-requisite for my upcoming “Majestic Elk” wall hanging class. “Build” my “Pile O’ Pumpkins” wall hanging while you learn about using fusible web, mylar pressing sheet and lots about your sewing machine!

AB - Wed. Oct. 21 & Wed. Oct. 28 – 10am-2pm - “PARTIAL ECLIPSE QUILT” - $75 includes the pattern.  Use a Charm Pack or

Layer Cake of colorful prints to make curves that radiate out from a center square. Curved piecing isn’t as difficult as it might

look! Take your piecing skills to the next level – we’ll spend two Wednesdays to complete this exciting quilt!

 

B - Sat. Oct. 31 - 10am-2pm - “EASY HALLOWEEN TRICK OR TREAT TOTE” - $45 kit included You’re going to LOVE my easy

tote bag pattern and you’ll leave class with a finished bag perfect for collecting candy or carrying important treasures

everywhere you go! My kit includes everything you’ll need to make 1 finished tote bag.

 

AB – Sat. Nov. 7 – 10am-2pm - “PERFECT, MACHINE STITCHED BINDING” - $45 You may never want to do binding any other

way! I know I don’t! Let me guide you through 3 different machine stitched bindings that you can use for quilts, runners, wall

hangings, placemats or garments – faster, easier, more secure!

 

AB – Wed. Nov. 11 & 18 – “KELLY J’S “KITCHEN ENSEMBLE” - $75  Join me for two days of fun & sewing.  My ‘Kitchen Ensemble”

is perfect for giving or decorating your own kitchen.  Placemats, potholders & decorated dish towels complete the set!  My kit
